Rumours say that Microsoft aims to release Windows 12 in June 2024.

Major companies in the Taiwanese PC market, including Acer, Quanta, MSI, and Gigabyte, have expressed confidence about the potential financial benefits of the new generation of AI-powered PCs in response to this announcement, which has created enthusiasm in the sector.

The anticipated release date is mentioned in the Commercial Times, although no official remarks from executives are provided.

Recent comments by Quanta Chairman Barry Lam and Acer Chairman and CEO Jason Chen could have been the source of the information.

A Translation of the page begins with, “Microsoft Windows 12 will be launched in June 2024 and is expected to introduce a large number of AI technologies and become the leader in AI PCs.”

Both executives visited the Taiwan Medical Technology Exhibition in Taipei on November 30, 2023.

According to reports, Chen is cautiously optimistic that AI PCs will help boost the industry through a positive feedback loop in which the development of new AI PCs leads to the creation of new AI apps, which in turn requires the development of ever more potent AI PCs.

More optimistic was Barry Lam of Quanta, who highlighted the company’s intention to expand in three areas: AI PC, AI server, and AI automotive electronics.

According to Lam, AI computers will follow one another when Microsoft releases a new generation of Windows operating systems next summer.

After all, the period between Windows 11 and Windows 12 is only three years, as opposed to six years between Windows 10 and Windows 11.

Microsoft is going through rapid changes.

Due to the EU’s new policy changes, the company will remove bundleware from its Windows package.

Also, the company has released an AI app-based app called Seeing AI for Android users. It can scan papers and currencies, explain the environment, and assist those who are blind or have impaired eyesight.
