It seems like it is mayhem for AI-based self-developed operating systems after Xiaomi revealed its HyperOS

At the 2023 Developer’s Conference, Vivo showed off its self-developed BlueOS. The BlueOS protocol is primarily intended to be used in smartwatches and home appliances.

BlueOS is Vivo’s first Rust language-based framework to ensure user Privacy and Security more efficiently than ever before.

The Blue OS is compatible with various hardware architectures, including Posix standard kernels, Linux kernels, and RTOS kernels.

BlueOS AI service engine is designed to bring a new experience within its multimodal interaction.

Additionally, it will also enhance and support more powerful artificial intelligence-based models.

With the Blue OS Development Kit, developers can benefit from various SDK tools, including BlueOS SDK and BlueOS Studio.

The BlueOS Studio is an integrated Development Environment that focuses on code editors, debuggers, graphical user interface designs or UI and a lot more.

On the other hand, the BlueOS Software Development Kit is a collection of software development tools and resources for developing applications using APIs, libraries, files and much more.

It is claimed that the operating system will increase the rendering efficiency by 48% and reduce memory consumption by 67%.

A range of devices, including 200 MHz processors with 32 MB RAM and 4 Ghz processors with 24MB RAM, can be supported by BlueOS.

Ultimately, BlueOS will improve opening apps, app switching, motion rendering, sliding lists, and loading times.

At the same time, this will introduce a new intelligent interaction experience that can help you to change your watch’s face with voice commands.

Based upon the principle of distributed design, BlueXlink is a Cross Terminal Intelligent Connection Technology. It is compatible with industry standards, enabling data to be transmitted and stored effectively, transparently, and safely across various devices.
