The latest version of Microsoft Office 2024 has been released by Microsoft, and it isn’t associated with Microsoft 365, meaning you can now purchase access to the updated versions of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with a one-off payment instead of an ongoing subscription.

BETTER PERFORMANCE AND SPEED
Users will observe a new array of enhancements when searching for emails, files, people, or events, due to the improved search functionality in Outlook that produces better results.
They will enjoy improved performance in Excel, even with multiple workbooks open at the same time.
Mac users can now personalise their swipe left and swipe right gestures in Outlook for Mac using a multi-touch trackpad or Magic Mouse.
IMPROVEMENTS IN CONTENT CREATION
In Outlook, emails can be automatically checked for accessibility issues using the accessibility checker.
Meanwhile, PowerPoint enables seamless embedding of a live camera feed into slides with Cameo, or recording of narration, animations, transitions, and inking using the recording studio.
OneNote provides an upgraded inking experience, which includes a full-screen view focused on the pen, enabling the entire screen for inking.
ANALYSING DATA WITH EASE
In Excel, discover new functions that facilitate the use of text and arrays in worksheets. Pictures can be easily pasted directly, or the IMAGE function can be utilised to add images without altering the formatting.
With dynamic arrays, different datasets can be visualised in charts that will automatically refresh to capture all data during array recalculations.
