The iMac with M3 is 2x as fast as the previous M1 generation. The new iMac is up to 2.5 times faster than the most popular 27-inch, 2x and 4x faster than the most powerful 21.5″ model for those upgrading from an Intel-based iMac.

With an M3 chip, iMac comes better than ever in its best-in-class camera, speakers, and mics, along with macOS Sonoma.

WHAT WILL BE SUPERCHARGED WITH M3 CHIP
The M3 chip features an eight-core CPU, up to a ten-core GPU and support for 24 GB of unified memory, which makes it another great leap in performance on iMac.
With M3 chips, this is up to two times faster than the previous generation. In all of their work, users will feel the speed and power of M3, whether they are working from multitasking through everyday productivity applications to exploring creative passions such as photo editing with high resolution or multiple streams of 4K video.
With next-generation GPU, the M3 iMac supports hardware acceleration of mesh reflections and ray tracing, providing a much more precise illumination for highly realistic gaming experiences, thus making 3D models even faster.
iMac also delivers incredible machine learning and video performance using a 16-core neural processor and the latest media engine.
