Famous smartphone brand Xiaomi unveils its Human-centric Operating System “HyperOS”.
In a press release, XIAOMI reveals this information.
The company has launched an event under the theme “Leap Beyond the Moment” to announce its Xiaomi HyperOS release.
With the release of Xiaomi’s HyperOS will empower a smart ecosystem of personal devices, cars, and home products.
HyperOS will be focusing on four major goals: low-level Refactoring, Cross-End Intelligent Connectivity, Proactive Intelligence, and End-to-End Security. This will ensure Xiaomi’s user can enjoy brand new user experience (UX).
Low-level Refactoring Xiomi describes it as “releasing the full potential of devices”. The core of Xiaomi HyperOS is formed by Linux and Xiaomi’s self-developed Xiaomi Vela system.
With HyperOS, Xiaomi has gone through an extensive restructuring of its technical modules, including the file system, memory management, imaging subsystem, and network system. This will ensure the efficiency and optimisation of the hardware capabilities of different devices, thus providing optimal performance.
Cross-End Intelligent Connectivity, also known as “HyperConnect, takes connectivity to the next stage”.
Users can switch cameras seamlessly during video conferencing, access car cameras from the phone, and access the smartphone’s rear cameras while using a tablet or laptop. It will even connect a tablet to the internet via a smartphone.
It will be more user-friendly. A user can move apps, clipboard content and notifications between devices.
Proactive Intelligence that will “enabling devices to understand user intentions”.
An AI-based feature of “HyperMind”, a core functionality of HypeOS, at the centre of Xiaomi’s device ecosystem. That will bring pioneering cross-device connections into the era of ‘proactive intelligence.’
This feature will enable devices to proactively understand their user needs and act accordingly. HyperMind delves into the four major perceptual capabilities of devices including environment, vision, sound, and behaviour. This will learn user’s requirements and automatically adapt devices to their needs.
End-to-End Security that will “safeguarding users in every scenario”.
User security is one of the top priorities of Xiami’s HypeOs system. It has an extendable protective umbrella not only for individual devices but also for interconnected security modules.
The interconnected security, a TEE module-based, will ensure mutual trust among devices within the network.
Xiaomi HyperOS will be on its next flagship of 14 Series, Xiaomi Watch S3, Xiaomi TV S Pro 85″ MiniLED, and other devices.
